Chris can be overly scientific sometimes. Take, for example, an excerpt of a conversation we were having on the validity of speed limits:
Chris: "Well you can't really tell how fast you're going in concrete terms, since speed is only a concept. That you are moving is a concrete fact, but speed is a concept."
To which I replied: "So is you being a moron a concept, or a concrete fact?"
And yet here is how he describes the miracle of birth:
"So, how do you think its going to feel to have a small human squirm out from between your legs?"
I think that's how they describe it in medical textbooks too.
