Luca's become quite the avid NPR listener. This can be disadvantageous when they are discussing certain topics at length, say, Syria, and we have had to have a talk about how "we don't need to repeat everything we hear on the news". A lot of times if it gets troublesome in the car I switch it off, but I refuse to start my morning without at least an inkling of what's going on in the world. The upside of this is I have a incredibly politically aware three (almost four) year old. This was evidenced by his comment on the election coverage this morning:
"Mama I want Barack Obama to win! Then we can go to the government, and say 'Good Job Obama!'"
Me too, Luca, Me too.
